moneyI have recently found myself with considerable debt, accumulated during my years at Queen’s University. My step-dad saved my butt by co-signing a low-interest loan, giving me time to pay off my debt. I have, however, been left without the means to start making loan payments. I have a few leads for jobs that will allow me to pay off my debt in entirety before I attend BCIT next year, but for now I have to play the waiting game. workplace.jpgI want to work for a company that motivates me to succeed, and appreciates my hard work and dedication. Is that too much to ask?

I idolize companies like Mountain Equipment Co-op and Lululemon for their excellent work culture that motivates their staff to succeed. They do so by providing a friendly work environment and great employee benefits. For example: Lululemon gives free yoga classes to all it’s employees, whether they work at the head office or in a retail store, showers at all their locations to encourage staff to bike or run to work, and free success seminars. These are just a few from a long list of benefits, and are one top of the usual dental, health, etc. Read more…
