As a web and graphics designer, I have been involved in the design of a number of company logos, and have watched the ever-changing trends in logo design. The current trends include prominent use of 3D, waves/leaves/stars and typography based minimalism.
There are many logos that we can identify without hesitation, because we have been exposed to them for the better part of our lifetime. I wonder, however, how many people could identify the former logos of familiar companies. It’s by no means an exhaustive list, but here is the evolution of the logos of the better-known tech companies.
